About Us
Daybreak is a church passionate about knowing God, growing together, and strengthening families, while making a real impact on the world around us.
What we believe
-
1. LOVE RADICALLY - JESUS modeled sacrificial, inclusive, undeserved LOVE.
We choose unity over comfort.
We pursue reconciliation.
We welcome others as Christ welcomed us.
Matthew 27:37-39: Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.
2. LIVE WHOLY (Holiness + Wholeness)
Spiritual - Emotional - Physical - Relational
We pursue growth, not perfection.
We invite accountability.
We take responsibility for our lives
1 Thessalonians 5:23: May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
3. PRAY DANGEROUSLY - Safe prayers ask God to bless OUR plans. Dangerous prayers invite God to DISRUPT us.
Prayer is not optional - it’s foundational.
We expect God to move (faith), not just listen.
Acts 4:31: After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
4. GIVE GENEROUSLY - Generosity reflects (FRUIT) trust in God. finances + time + talent, skills, and gifts
We give first, not leftovers.
We see giving as participation in God’s mission.
Ministry impact is dependent on our obedience.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8: Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
5. COMMIT SACRIFICALLY - Commitment costs everything!
Show up consistently.
Serve faithfully.
Stay when it’s hard.
Mark 8:34-35: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.
6. BELIEVE SUPERNATURALLY - God still heals, speaks, transforms! Spirit led and grounded in scripture.
We pray with expectation.
We step out in faith.
We trust God beyond sight and understanding
Hebrews 11:1: Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
